Remember that every grade you get from now on counts on your high school transcript!

Colleges and universities will use the information on this document to decide whether or not you may attend.

A college preparatory student should take the following classes during their high school career:

Total of 16 core courses - You should average 4 core courses per year. Students who plan on going to college take difficult courses to prepare themselves for the academic rigor of college.

Update your SEOP (4-year plan) with your counselor.

Keep track of grades and coursework with the High School Planner in UtahMentor.

Shoot for A's and B's in all of your classes. Doing well in all your classes improves your chances of passing the UBSCT, graduating from high school, getting into college, and will also help with college entrance exams, such as the ACT and/or SAT.

Create a college planning file, or store electronically, files that contain the following:
